The Turn

The monk, as old as the rocks on those hills, told him that he owned the best souvenir in the whole area, smiling ironically, like a child. Outside the hut, the animals grazed quietly, surrounded by the majestic presence of the Himalayas.

At six AM, nothing seemed extraordinary. With its persistent cold, the dry air lingered above the trees, leftovers of the night for these endless fields.

Our Own Noise

Nature stops at nothing to achieve its most important purpose: it doesn’t matter how long a seed hides from the rays of the sun and the embrace of water. Once all these factors do their get together, the seed will produce the most fantastic spark of life. Don’t deny yourself the realization of your true nature. It is you who continually defines You.

A small part of the greater good

Nature doesn't count how many times you told someone you loved them, or how much of your day you have spent serving others. Life doesn't keep track of our failings or our goodness. She nurtures us. She brings all her creative chaotic presence into the garden of our lives without much complaining.

The Joke

I was hoping you could give me the desires you boxed away on the shelter we call friendship. Preserve your identity someplace else, and show me those other masks you used to wear before your “self-proclaim guru life” took over. I need the other you, so we can have a proper get together with the noisemaker I once knew.
